Empowering Leaders of Color
in Commercial Real Estate

Advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through education, mentorship, and partnerships.

Who We Are

For over 25 years, Project REAP (Real Estate Associate Program) has been the premier initiative dedicated to increasing diversity in commercial real estate by empowering leaders of color. We fulfill our mission by bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, equipping professionals of color with the training, mentorship, and networks needed to thrive in real estate careers.

Through the REAP Academy and our alumni programs, we have built a dynamic community of more than 2,000 professionals, each making their mark on every aspect of the commercial real estate landscape. Project REAP continues to break barriers and champion an industry where leaders of color are empowered to lead and succeed.

Alumni Success Story

From REAP Academy to Global Developer:
London Kemp Boykin

Director, Global Real Estate Development at Amazon

London Kemp Boykin leads an organization that drives global sustainable development, strategy, partnerships, and community planning, as well as oversees real estate planning and transactions in Amazon’s largest region (North America) for the company’s Global Fulfillment Network. As a 2012 Los Angeles REAP graduate, she credits the organization with changing her career trajectory as she was recruited directly from the program to a job opportunity in real estate.

“Participating in the REAP Academy provided me with a new perspective on what a career in the real estate industry could look like and inspired me to take on bigger professional challenges, thanks to the incredible network of REAP alumni and mentors.”

Prior to Amazon, London managed multi-billion-dollar regional and global real estate portfolios for Walmart, NBC, Ingram Micro and Netflix. Her expertise spans retail, restaurant-retail, distribution, data centers, studios and others. Mrs. Kemp Boykin serves as Sr. Vice Chair on the
Board of Directors for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, REAP Board of Directors, and as a governing trustee for Urban Land Institute.

REAP alumni have seen significant increases in salary, with a 33% rise for those earning between $100,000 - $200,000 and a 14% rise for executive-level roles. (Project REAP Impact Report 2023)
